ChaCha is a human-powered search and answers service. We deliver answers via txt or PC, anytime, anywhere.

You can call 1-800-2ChaCha or send a text to 242242 receive the answer within 3 mins although it can take up to 10 mins.

ChaCha has 15,000 active guides (and looking for more) with thousands searching each week and hundreds online at any time.

ChaCha Guides work from home or any favorite spot with a high-speed connection. There are guides in all 50 states.

Text Guides are paid $0.20 per completed search. ChaCha is a great way to make money! I am making around 250/Week, that's about $1,000 a month. $30-35 a day, which can be done in 3-5 hours depending on your skills.

If you are interested in becoming a Guide visit ChaCha.com or PM me for an invitation or a referral.

No scam at all. Go to news.google.com and search for chacha. They keep getting plenty of media coverage.

Most of its users are bored teenagers. You have to be 18 or over to work for ChaCha, therefore all the 13-17 year old kids who use it are creating work for us people over 18. You can work whenever you want; there is not set schedule.

Working as a ChaCha SMS Search Guide:

    Job Details -
As a ChaCha search Guide, your job is to search and answer questions for people, via the internet.
Note: You must be at least 18 years old and a legal U.S. citizen or resident to work for ChaCha.

    The Way it Works
Someone sends in a question via their cell phone (text or call); their question will then be relayed to a guide (YOU) and you will use the internet to find an answer to that question; you then send the answer to them from your computer. Once you have done that, you will then be paid. You are paid for each question that you answer.

For example: Someone sends in a question asking about the current weather in New York City. You would just go to a weather website, find New York City, and type the current weather conditions to them as your answer. DONE!
It's a great way to earn some extra money while browsing the internet!

Once you apply, you have a day before you will receive the invitation email. I advise you to look over the Official ChaCha Guide Handbook.

    Qualifying for the Job:
Once you have applied, you should receive and email, about a day later, from ChaCha that invites you to take a few tests to qualify for a position as a Guide.

The test is divided into 3 sections. Each section is timed, so you must work quickly. You must complete each section in the allotted time, and each section will be graded, so try not to mess up -- You are only given ONE chance to take the test!

ChaCha just recently released an updated to the system we use to answer questions (the Universe).

All Incoming questions are now assigned to Generalist/Specialist Guides based on the categories they’ve signed up for. This means that they distinguishing between the “Generalist” side of the role and the “Specialist” side.

What does this mean? When a question is categorized by an Expeditor, the system will look for relevant Specialists, and if one is available, it will send the question his/her way. When a Specialist can’t be found in the allotted time, the question will then be diverted to an available Generalist.

For example, the question “What is the surface temperature on Mars?” will likely go to a Specialist guide who has selected the category SciTech > Science > Astronomy.
