i asked how much they make and he said the get payed $5 an hour but only the first 6min of your request.
Hehe, I just used the service, how cool! Well how neat I should say, to have a live searcher at your disposal. Why not have themed searches, like people who are interested in guitar can help you find guitar sites? It could be huge, I'd actually pay people to find information for me, oh wait I already do, its called experts exchange, http://www.experts-exchange.com/ however for topics like guitar it would be way cool. I wonder if they're paid to say things like 'use the relevant links down the side of the page' (that's where the paid ads are if you look at the right hand side, or guide results on the left side... I wonder which one they mean?)
I was a guide for a bit, but it was the largest waste of time ever. Why do I want to make $5 per hour. You don't even make that as minimum wage in the States. Not a very good engine anyway!
I just got thrown around from guide to guide, not very good at all. Anyone experience something like that, or as a guide?
Well, I went on there and asked how many guides they have and she replied "15,000 the last time she checked". They obviously didn't start with that many guides, so they have clearly been growing. Since the site is only 1 year old, that's impressive growth in such a short period of time... Maybe they're on to something and chacha will end up being the next big search engine since google!? To me the concept is bizarre, but I can see how this could be useful to people who are either lazy or not too bright... and I would say that 50% of people fall into one of those 2 categories. Anyway, we will see.
What a weird name search engine. Anyway, I was curious and checked it out... looks kinda nice, but the guided page has too many ads I suppose.
They really need to choose better guides, some of them seem like 13 year olds. (Spelling, grammar) It has potential though.
