Hi guys how do you like ChaCha.com? I think it's a great idea and it works really good too. The guides are really fast and the results they provide are dead on. Has anyone else tryed them?

 

I just did. It looks pretty decent.

 

Looks nice, but work very slow (for me), but from other hand result wasn't bad.. Need to do some tests.

 

I liked it and thing it has potential. The search is really fast, which is a good thing, and the results pretty decent.

 

I reviewed it. Good site. . . especially if you are lazy.

I've just been accepted as a guide. I hope it is a good opportunity. I think there is a lot of training involved before I actually start being a guide.

 

The training is all hands on. Just sign into your Guide App and you'll start getting training searches. Other guides are the ones training you. So, feel free to ask them questions.

I'm a Master guide myself, so if you need help, you can PM me here and I'll do my best.

 

Why it's so slow? Can't wait till I get the search result.

 

Their still having issues with the technology, it's only in Beta right now OR more likely, the guide is trying to find you good results and they're a little slow. That's one drawback of having a human on the other end.

Thank you for your offer to help, Big Mike. I have decided not to become a guide at Cha Cha and to stay with the company I've been working for the past year. It's such a busy time of year for me now that I didn't think it was a good time to change jobs.

 

They must get so many people badmouthing the operators..

 

Any one knows how much you get paid if your a guide?

 

From site i think about 5$ to 10$ per hour depending on your level.

 

ChaCha is a great idea but there's a flaw where it don't always work.

For example i wanted to know the population of the world in 1066. Seeing as this is a type of question someone might want to use with ChaCha for i decided to use them and to no surprise they couldn't find an answer... Plus it took a very long time as well.

Also on an unrelated note, i typed ChaCha in google but couldn't find them... anyone know why?

 

How would someone know population of world in 1066 ? I doubt there was any booking done back than ?

And it doesnt appear in google, cause maybe google doesnt like the site and concept of its competitor ?

I find answers.yahoo.com much better in many cases. Still do not see the point of this social site. If I wanted to get bias information from users, I would just check Wikipedia.

First rep I had sucked and almost made me exit the site and never think about them again. 2nd rep was amazing. Quick and very nice! But that all soon ended after I got switched to another rep WITHOUT even telling me! That sort of upset me!

Anyways, overall a nice service. Great to eliminate SE spam!
