CF8 and SQL Server 2008

    Anyone got these 2 talking? CF 8.01 and SQL Server 2008 Express

    I followed the steps that I use to get SQL Express 2005 but to no result.

    Sorry I meant to post in ColdFusion. Can a mod delete this post.

    I have just in the past week done this. Here are my steps:

    Run the: SQL Server Configuration Manager

    Expand SQL Server Network Configuration.

    Enable TCP/IP

    Right click TCP/IP, click Properties, select 'Ip Address's' tab

    Expand the "IPALL" section.

    The TCP Port is blank, change it to 1433.

    Apply and restart the SQL Services and it will work.
