    You are correct in your assumption. There is no trademark issue with this domain as long as this domain does not engage in the same business as the other domain in question. I'd say mid $xxx would be a good estimate undeveloped.

    However, if the domain owner does engage in the same business as the other domain then they risk losing their domain based on infringement violations from deceptive business practices.

    Only cex.tv sounds like sex tv and I think it's great domain for develop site in this direction.

    LLL domains will never ever have problems with TM infringements. It's totally generic.

    Still regfee for me, anyway.

    Put it as low $xxx, and I'd agree that you shouldn't be worrying about trademark as long as you steer well clear of their niche

    If there is a TV company with the name CEX, you will have a good chance. But IMO, everytime a company choose a name, they will search that name to see if anyone choose the same domain name :) I always do with this way and never pay big money for a name of domain.
