What do you think of this ? I think it is cute !

    See:

It is the perfect name on the exact extension !

    27,300,000 Google search results.
The word celulares appears on 27,300,000 pages on Google http://www.google.com/search?q=celulares

The world celulares is used all wide Latinamerica, from Mexico to Argentina, including Brazil and the Caribean !!
In Spain they use the word "moviles" to refer to cellular phones, though they also recognize the term "celulares".

    English equivalents are Premium Domain
The English equivalent and similar domains has been considered Premium Domain by Mobile Top Level Domain Limited (mTLD organization)

    Cellphone.mobi
    cellularphones.mobi
    CellularTelephone.mobi
    cellphonebatteries.mobi
    cellphonedirectory.mobi
    cellphonenumbers.mobi
    cellphoneplans.mobi
    cellphones.mobi
    cells.mobi
    cellulare.mobi
    cellulari.mobi

And of course the Spanish singular version is considered Premium Domain as well
    Celular.mobi

    Celular.com, Celulares.com are all taken (net/org/info/biz/us)
Every TLD of both Celular.com and Celulares.com is taken, which shows how important this domain is.
Some of the owners are asking more than $15,000.00

CellPhone.com, CellPhones.com are all taken as well (net/org/info/biz/us)
Every TLD of both CellPhone.com and CellPhones.com is taken, which shows how important this domain is.
Some of the owners are asking more than $20,000.00 USD

    Cellphones.com sold for $4.2 Million

Honestly, I don't see this being worth much more than it's original registration value.

Celulares is a great Spanish keyword, mobi extension not.

In Latin American countries people hardly recall extension other than com ccTLD such as com.mx, com.ar, etc.

Mobi has been considered a non-sense worthless extension since 2004: www.w3.org/DesignIssues/TLD

To me, the ideal, mispelled, for mobi.dick :D

    Totally agreed.

I've seen that article before. Since it sounds very "smart", you had to ask if there should be more than one TLD after all, or if even needed to exist such thing as a TLD. Why not simply http://cars ?
The cases where more than one tld has a very legitim use are rare compared with the rest of cases where it does not. These days, the net/org/info/biz are really just a second, third, fourth and fifth oportunity to have a domain name.

and .mobi being the extension while the word in spanish is with V (móvil), makes it more confusing, unless it works like .gob/.gov?
