I am looking for some good advertising idea's to make some good sales. I have been working on my store front http://www.zstorez.com since Oct 2007. It is a med. sized online store that mainly sells Cell Phone Accessories. I get about 100 unquies a day, but NO sales! I have about 6,500 items and growing. But my main problem is traffic and sales. Stores can get expensive fast, I have put hundreds of hours into the site as well as orders to try and kick start it. But sales have been down and I have almost no money for advertising left. I have tried google adwords, shopzilla, shopping.com, goclick, many back links, traffic geyser and more. But I just can't seem to make consistent sales. I mean I want to at least have the store to be paid for each month, im getting drained fast!!

    Can anyone Please help!

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions other than what you've already tried but it is a really competitive market. You didn't get any results from Adwords? What about an affiliate program to get more people on board to promote your store?

I have not yet tried an affiliate program yet. How do they work? Any good places to find one? Adwords got expensive very fast! I did a lot of trial and error as well.

setup a service so people can become affiliates with your store (submit your site to clickbank for example) to allow people like us to advertise and sell your stuff.

affiliates get a % profit from anyone they refer to your store that buys something (normally 50-75%) and is a great way to up buisness.

You may have tried everything you can to promote your site, but when you create an affiliate option, you literally have an endless supply of new people with fresh ideas and techniques (alot of them bein gbetter than you i@ advertisment i bet) and it can really turn a buisness around.

why dont you tell us what you have already done, so we know where to start?

    few friendly tips:
    - i dont really like the color scheme, red and white is okay, but it doesnt look very uhm...original, yaknow? nothin special
    -same for your banner
-i havnt compared prices on your site with others in your niche, are your price competitive or are you just as expensive (if not more) than others in your niche?
-create reviews of products, giving +'s and -'s to things, so people that come to your site have a reason to come back (product reviews are a great thing to have) i see the option, but with no reviews at all up front, and no sales, means no reviews ever, so people who are looking to buy might see it on your site, go "hmm, i wanna know more" and go to another site, then buy from them if the reviews are good
-submit your site to every search engine imaginable
-create articles about your site everywhere you can
-is your site built for SEO? im not good at that just yet so i cant really tell just by looking, but from what i DO see, i dont notice any keywords or anything of that nature
-you MIGHT want to consider a different domain name, "Zstores" has absolutely nothing to do with cellphones or cell accessories.

    just to get things started
