Hi, how much do you guys think celexy.com is worth? If you could give me the value of both the domain and the site as a whole that would be great. The domain is estimated $1284 here but I dont know if its accurate: http://www.websiteoutlook.com/www.celexy.com I started the site in September 2009 and the domain is registered at Godaddy. Was this a dropped domain? How is it getting all of this traffic? A domain like "celexy" would be reg fee as it is not a word of any significance, but with this traffic, it's brandable and does have value.
Hi, thanks for the reply. It's a hand reg, I was surprised it was still available. The site is getting all the traffic because I "accidentally" figured out a way to get the images on the site to show up at least on the first place for google images. 95% off all my traffic comes from ppl searching for images and finding the images from my site. So any idea of the value?
I love the domain, I think it is a great play on words. The market is crowded and this trick you have found might not keep working... but milk it while you can by trying to leverage the traffic into links somehow. The value? Not sure, depends on potential revenue. I think $1200 is a good starting point but I believe if you develop it more it could be worth 10x that or more.
hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah I think I'll keep the domain a little longer and work in it more regularly. I might sell it if someone makes an offer but, developing it more is prob better. Thanks for the advice
CELEXY is a good brand-able name. Regarding Website Outlook, I would say you must divide every website value by 10. Both value and daily earnings are highly inflated. Keep the name, try to run affiliate programs for 2-3 months, and you can list the website on flippa! Usually people pay 24 month earnings for any established website.
