    and would it be better to add a site (content) to it and then sell it or would that not make a significant change on the valuation?

    I think it has development potential and that development is going to be what makes this name more valuable. 480 global exact searches via google keyword tool.

    That said I could still imagine someone paying about $100 or more for this name even though it is not the more desirable .com version.

    With some creativity you could easily develop this name.
