I am celebrating my 3rd month of an webmaster life! It happens in the same night decided to open an blog in blogger.I started with an empty skill related to web mastering.I didn't have the minimum idea about what a webmaster really do with his site. I never thought that a site must be submitted to search engines(I thought Google, Yahoo, Ask etc picks a new website automatically!),I never heard of PR,Dofollow,social bookmarks,Directory,Backlinks, and some other important things related to webmastering. But I heard of adsense!(I was dreaming of making lots of money by clicking on my own ads from another computer/or by telling my friends and relatives, Yes, I didnt know how adsense really works.). I post my first article and applied for adsense account. Google accepted it in the next day. I put some ads on my blog from my blog "add a page element option". I was so happy to see ads showing on my blog and clicked some of them(To see, are they really working?). None of my click was counted and I became so angry with Google(Now I thanks them for not banning me!). well, next morning, I wake up and check my adsense account. It showed that I already have 54 impressions, 1 click and 79 cents.( I thought, impression= the number of visitors). so, I was very happy with my blog. I didn't know nothing about html,Javascript ect. At the end of the first month I came to realize some roles of an webmaster and SEO related facts. Before that I learned about Adsense policy and took my stupidity under control. I am leaning every day till now...I don't know what to learn, but I know there are a lots of things that I will have to know to be successful.But I am happy with my progress. To me, Its a great achievement as I am getting 60-70 loyal visitors, several clicks, and 10-12 subscribers everyday.Looking forward to learn more.....
Your on a great path thats addicting plus alot of fun to do. I myself started with no experience at all last oct 2 with one website. Now I have 4 websites and 2 blogs and the knowledge I got from belonging to 3 forums I have learnt so much, and still learning. the first site is alot of products like figurines and such and has over 20 different page categories and has 5 pages that are pr 1,4 in 5, and 2 in pr 3, if it was not for these forums and tthe knowledge i learned where will i be? So to you keep it up have fun and make moola.
