    Too many discussions which helped me to learn a lot.

    Congratulations on your 1-year anniversary! I joined DP many years ago and then left it for a while. About a year ago I came back and have been on DP quite regularly since. I find that I am able to share my experiences and knowledge, learn things from people with a wide variety of interests/experiences/thinking, and also just occasionally hang out and post for fun. I hope that you are getting as much out of DP as I am.

    I lurked on DP for a while and then joined sometime around 2009-2010 ish. Shortly thereafter I stopped visiting for no particular reason.

    I started visiting again a year or two ago. Lately I've really gotten to thinking that just lurking was kind of selfish. Trying to be better about actively posting. A community depends on people posting and not just lurking.
