Just thought I would mention, I feel as if I have accomplished someting great, my first site just went from PR0 to PR5! Wow - I am kinda pumped. Now that I've tested the waters, and accomplished something, I think I am now going to put some effort into a real site now! Link to page in sig!

Yes - Does it show pr0 for anyone else? On a few reloads and cache clears, still shows pr5 for me. Maybe different DCs?
after investigating a bit, it appears this PR5 only shows on 216.239.53.99 using http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_checker Hopefully that spreads a bit.

Lol - I'll do my best. PR is cool, but now I just have to wait for more traffic; Of course, since it is such a niche site, there isn't much out there in general. I just did this just to test out the adsense/SEO waters. I think now it is time to leave this one be, and put my efforts into my bigger/much more ambitious project!
Wow you are right. I just checked my sites. My newest - 30 days old - is showing as a PR2 on some DC's
