celeb news site for sale, PR4, 30K pages, steal of a deal

For sale is my celebrity news and gossip site, www. celebrity news live. com. I put up a number of sites last year, and this was one I put a lot of work into early on, but hadn't recently. I started it because my wife digs the celeb dirt, thinking maybe she would take interest, but that never really happenned. I never really knew if it would make any decent money or not, and since I'm not really actively promoting or working on it the traffic spikes come and go. It really depends on what celebrity scandal is going at the time. When the Britney Spears crotch thing was out there for instance, unique pageviews were like 10,000+ per day - and it was bringing in like $100/day. And when the hits come, for some reason the CTR skyrockets to 8-12% in adsense. The more traffic it gets, the more highly targeted the adsense ads seem to become. I never had the time to monetize the site in other ways much, I did put a very few ads for celeb affiliate sites and seem to get a signup or two every month. If I'd done more than that I probably would've made quite a bit more considering the amount of celeb content. The avg revenue for the last 6 months is almost $2k ($1,976 I think), and that includes adsense + kontera + 2 celeb affiliate programs.

The site is basically on auto-pilot, it's like a celeb news portal and basically aggregates and posts content from the top celeb news sources. I have a blog page where I posted 2 things, and was going to post daily my take on the latest scandals for pure original content pages - never got around to that either. There are more than 30,000 unique pages in the site. Add some target pages for specific celebs and some original content and this site would easily become a quick and steady stream of revenue.

Strong PR4 site, haven't check the internal pages for PR in a long time. 5,567 inbound links, Alexa rank 357,767 (was under 60K when hits were 10,000+). 55,300 pages indexed with google (including category pages), 100 pages registered with MSN search, 61,109 pages indexed with Yahoo!, 50,700 at AlltheWeb. This site needs an SEO person to go through it and get it indexed better. I took down the blogroll I had pointing to some of my other sites because I think one or two of them were giving it 'bad neighborhood' and sending a bunch of pages to the end of the index. With some landing pages and category pages indexed well, or something to point a little traffic to it and get it jumpstarted - you could be off and running with a little money making machine. I'm concentrating on my other sites, and I'm more of a gadget guy and geek anyway, celeb gossip is just not enough of my bag for me to be passionate about it.

Currently hosted on my dedicated server in big web host with extra large data center. Will move and setup for you at web host of your preference. Will work anywhere you can have Drupal (PHP and mySQL).

Selling Info
Taking offers presently. No reasonable offer refused. dnscoop.com estimates this site to be worth $25,000. I know those numbers are crazy inflated - I may be willing to let this go for only 10% of that. I will consider ALL SERIOUS OFFERS and probably accept the highest, as this site is a must sell to pay for expenses that have come up.
