Cease and Vacate Order

I started a website for a client and we named it based on keyword research, bestvacuumcleaner.net
My client received a fax today, 6-7 months after we have been in business from an attorney at ecommerceattorney.com (?) that we are violating the trademarked name of bestvacuum.com and we must vacate the domain.

Does anyone have experience in this field? It seems like they are bluffing, I don't see any connection between bestvacuum.com and bestvacuumcleaner.net
i posted this in the general business section by accident and seems the conversation is going on over there.

I posted my answer on your other thread. But I have to say I got a chuckle
from seeing you got a "Cease And Vacate Order" for a domain name. :D

Plus it'd be pretty tough to take anything received from an outfit called "ecommerceattorney.com" serious.

Then you'll take them seriously if you receive a summons for a civil suit? Have
you even bothered to read the entire thread?

Stupid posts like that is one reason why some people get into trouble. OTOH,
the OP and others would do well to avoid taking "advice" from non-lawyers in
    an online forum.

If they were dumb enough to proceed on such a flimsy claim, I'd hire real lawyers to take care of it (who they'd end paying for).
