Just did a simple analysis of tagged.com, a social network site which clocks about 400,000 pageviews a day. Average with 9,300 clicks per day and let's assume it's $0.20/click, that's $1,860/day. Gosh, it's more than $30K/month. Now I know how to make that money and it sounds logical to me. Would like to hear your views on this.
0.20 per clicks is way to optimistic..go to plentyoffish blog check out the horrible cpm these guys gets when the impressions are way too much. for those impressions, the cpm would be around $0.25 and average click would be 0.02-0.08
It depends what your content is too...Plentyoffish is a dating so he is going to get low paying dating ads.
it doesnt matter.social networking doesnt have great content besides having age sex, location and some 12 yrs old teen stuff
