CC Denied emails/notifications

Back when we used MacAuthorize and NOVA (a while ago now) when a CC was rejected OG noted that it was rejected in the customers NOTES section in their account, and sent out an email telling them they were denied..

Ever since we added the ViaKlik and new CC Authorize module, etc., we no longer have either happening. I know I mentioned this problem some time again, and at that time I was told that would be fixed. Is there a fix available yet? How can we get this lost functionality back?

    Thanx.

What version of CCAuthorize does it show as being installed on your machine (under My Stuff -> System Info)?

You may want to upgrade it... that's a pretty old version. You can grab the Optigold ISP installed and do a "workstation installation" to update it.

So if I grab the newest installer, you are saying I have to run the "Workstation install" on the "Server?" to install it?

Or can I install the workstation on a workstation, grab the newest CC Auth plug in and then drop it in the appropriate place on the server?

    Thanx.

On whatever machine you process credit cards from. You can do it either way (install or copy).

I installed the newest CC Auth Plugin, which is 3.2 ? I assume?

In any event, still does not work.. I do not get a CC Declined noted in the notes section, and no email is sent out to the user.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanx..

    ALSO:

One other problem I have after updating the CC Authorize plugin on our one and only Classic Environment machine... It is not recoginized (the CC Auth) in the "My Stuff -- System info" area.. There is no version or anything listed there.. So after trying to run a batch on that machine, here is the repsonse I get:

    ERR: Unknown plugin command: CCAU-GetResponseText

I installed the CC Auth that I had for each of the OSX workstations we have here.. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I was unable to get OG to install under Classic after downloading the installer several times..

    Thanx.

If you process a card individually with the Authorize CC button, what's the verbose network response and code?

This transaction request has not been approved. You may elect to use another form of payment to complete this transaction or contact customer service for additional options.

However, this is quite normal.. The card was declined.. But I am not getting a declined email sent out to the customer and I am not seeing the decline noted in the notes section in the users account.. Again, this worked fine when we used MacAuthorize, but ever since moving to ViaKlix and the newer CC Auth we have never had this work. I remember talking to Acme about this some time ago and being told there would be a fix at some point. It has been a while, so I assumed this was fixed.. The other issue I have has to do with the fact that it appears that the installers I have downloaded either do not work on Classic, or there is a problem with the classic workstation we have here.

Either way, I am not too concerned about that issue.. I need a solution to the original problem which is that CC's that are declined are not noted in the notes section in a users account, and a CC Declined email is not being sent out.

    Thanx again!

I cannot remember. I had to pull the new version of cc auth cause it did not work.. The installers I have downloaded for OG will not run under classic for some reason. Is there any way you could send me a copy of the current ccauth plugin for OS9x?

Ok, that sucks.. Then I am pretty much stuck? We still use and rely on OS9 for our web server as it is the only thing that will trigger apple events via program linking.. If we move to OSX we cannot automate our set up anymore...

The ACME web site seems to indicate that CC Authorize works with the following:

    System Requirements
Mac OS 8/9/X and PPC Processor

    Windows 95/98/ME/XP/NT/2000

    An Internet connection

Requires account with a payment gateway listed above

Application isn't running (Error #600) This I assume is from MacRADIUS,ie., my primary RADIUS.

My Secondary RADIUS allow me to enter my user/pass, although it returns:

Remote Access isn't allowed (Error #905)

My EIMS box gives me the same error:

Remote Access isn't allowed (Error #905)

It has always been like this.. And again, I assume it is like this because I was under the impression that OSX does not support program linking..

Keep in mind, my EIMS/RADIUS, etc., are on OS9x. The workstations are all OSX.

It supports program linking... just make sure you are doing it via TCP/IP and that the machines you are trying to program link to allow TCP/IP program linking.

Yep.. I have TCP/IP Based Program linking on. One of the machines does not, but the other two do. I have it turned on on all of them now, but I still get the "Remote Access isn't allowed error #905" however.

Not sure to be honest. It definitely should work. It seems like it *is* working but is some sort of permissions issue on the machine. I don't have any OS9 machines to test it with on this end though.
