Real estate? CB wont be your best option. Have you tried Adsense yet?

I understand that you hate stupid questions (many of us do) but you don't have to post the same thing in every thread you don't like. I mean no offense but you're doing no better than the very people who you call ignorant or stupid. A few times here and there is fine but all of your posts lately seem to be dismissive.

Isn't it better to just stay quiet? Share your thoughts...

I just searched "Real Estate" in clickbank marketplace and it looks like there are some e-books you could promote.

I would agree with dlm there. Adsense is pretty good especially for travel and real estate sites. You should give it a try and see what happens.

LOL, I was being serious. It isn't actually a stupid question.

Real estate is one of the few niches where Adsense (properly utilized) can actually be VERY profitable. I've never really heard of any good real estate ebooks on Clickbank (although there might be a couple out there).

When you can get $1-2 per CLICK (via Adsense for real estate), it becomes an intriguing option.

LOL! most of the time, Dim is a bit harsh towards some boring threads, but this time he did not. Instead, he answered your question with this :

"CB wont be your best option. Have you tried Adsense yet?"

I sort of agree with dlm. Besides there are not that many products to advertise on CB related to real estate.

    I'd definitely go for Adsense.

Looks like you were just waiting to call DLM out - but you really chose the wrong post. Hahah.

Anyways, @OP - monetize your website for CPC ads, you can maybe even sell ad space. But make sure you monetize first, else you won't gain any long-term partnerships.

Playaner asked specifically about a clickbank product to promote on his site.

This is just an example anyway. Most of your posts lately have actually been dismissive. Even this one was in some way as you tried to dismiss the op's idea of promoting a cb product.

So funny, but you are wrong. I wasn't. Check out dlm's last 20 posts and let me know if you find any where he/she didn't condemn anyone. This one was just a little bit different.

@playaner: It may be hard to find a product about investing in Caribbean real estate but you can find a lot of cool products in real estate niche. Check out http://www.clickbank.com/mkplSearch...ld=POPULARITY&b1=1266&b2=1269&catFromNav=true

Look at the first product. It has so many FAKE PROOFS.

I think a real estate product would be the wrong way to go. Think about your target audience.

Question: Who looks for property in the Caribbean to invest in, buy for themselves or dream of buying.

Answer: People who already have the finances to do so or someone who thinks they might someday. (there are other things too like people who like to travel, probably play golf, etc.)

If you focus on the people who think they might someday, Forex is a perfect fit for them. "Want to own your own home in the Caribbean? Click Here Now to find out how"...you get the idea. You could try travel niche or golfing niche or many others. Let your mind expand beyond why they are at your site and think more about the people who are there.

    LOL.

He asked about promoting Clickbank products on a real estate website.

In my experience, Adsense will probably work better on this type of website. That is what I told him.

Not sure why you're coming after me.

No offense, but I don't think this works at all.

You need VERY targeted traffic to be successful with CB. The people out there who think CB is a scam/rip off/whatever usually send thousands of improperly targeted visitors to hoplinks and then complain when they haven't made a sale.

A high quality real estate product might work well, but sending visitors interested in real estate to a forex website will probably end in failure.

That's just my opinion - don't yell at me too loudly jacky

No offense taken but it does work. It is a form of cross merchandising. Has been used in the real world for a long time and I have used it many many times online over the last 7 years. Amazon affiliates can really attest to this. If you sell an item, you also get credit for anything else they buy and you will see some crazy combinations.

I will agree that it is less targeted but not untargeted. If you sent these people to get your ex back or something then that would be untargeted. People buy on emotion. Always have, Always will. If you know your audience and can trigger the right emotions, you can and will sell a variety of items.

I agree that a real estate product might work well. However, they probably get and see these ads on the other real estate sites they visit. It can be hit or miss but it's free for him to try. The ones I have found in the past (and present) have always been bigger sellers than the obvious.

What you can do is to find some products that you think that is good for you to promote. Look for products with low gravity. Visit the vendors website. Look for website that does not look good but with a product of quality. Most of the times products are developed by Doctors, Experts that do not understand anything about marketing. The products are good but the sales letter and the desing are very bad. What you can do is to buy this product very cheap, create a very well designed website and sales letter and sell it and get 100% of the money. You can use a link to the real estate website pointing to your website and get 100% of the sales for you. ;)

Hmm... 10k monthly visitors... kind of high-ticket crowd going on... I'd probably try both a) the cross merchandising angle and set up some of those newish "hopads" thing-a-widgets using tags such as "golf", "forex", "investments" etc., as well as b) rotate banners for real estate CB products, and also c) throw in a big adsense box for icing on the marketing cake.

Would everyone be happy, that way? :-P

Seriously though, it's a matter of try and test... but I think 3 ad units (one adsense, one CB banners, one CB hopads) is not going over the edge; just as long as you know your ad placement, of course. Most people don't like mixing up monetization strategies in a niche website, but I believe it can be done with great success.

Okay, but it is better to network with productive people and devote your energies to productive tasks than wasting it on criticizing noobs and stupid things.
