CB pitch page question

    Hello everyone...

I'm in the process of setting up an account w/ CB to sell a product of mine and have a quick question. On CB's website, they mention that your pitch page has to both describe the product AND feature your purchase link.

But I have these on 2 separate pages (my home page describes the product and I have a separate 'order' page with just the ordering info and purchase link).

Should my pitch page be my home page or my 'order' page?

Or do I have to redesign the site to include both on the same page?

Thanks in advance for any help.

you describe your product and features on your pitch page.
and you have a purchase link on your pitch page.

your purchase link isnot the link for them to download your product, this link brings them to the CB checkout..

after they order you have a "thank you"page where the product can be downloaded

Thanks but I don't think you quite understood my question. I realize that the purchase link is not the link to download my product.

What I'm trying to figure out is which page to submit to ClickBank as my pitch page? - my home page (with the product description) or my 'order' page (with no product description)?

Or do I have to redo my website and have the product description and purchase link on the same page?

I would recommend you put both on the same page but if you don't want to then I think your home page should be your pitch page.

I think I would follow the guidlines of the program I was joining. If you feel stongly about it make a different landing page for cb.

Yeah, I guess I will redesign the site and add a purchase link and everything else they want on the homepage. I just kinda preferred the 'old school' multi-page layout instead of the single webpage with everything on it. I think the multi-page layout looks alot more professional than most of the single page sites out there.. most of which are just long, over-hyped salesletters.

    oh i see,
submit the page with the description etc. the sales pitch is what they want so they can see you have followed their guidlines....
described the product, advised of any programs needed to use your product eg. adobe reader, etc.

    Hey Brandon,

You should submit your product for approval following their
guidelines so they can approve it.

And once it's approved, you can go to the sales page, order page
format. They just want to see everything on the same page bc
    they are lazy. LOL

The things that are important are that your guarantee says 8 weeks
or 56 days and that your order link works and finally that your
download page says "Your creditcard or paypal account will show a
    charge of $xx.xx from Keynetics"

    Hope this helps,
    Jason

In case anyone is still interested, I just received a reply from CB regarding this. Here is what they said...

Thank you for your inquiry. Publishers are permitted to offer multiple
pitch pages. When submitting your product approval request, simply
provide our team with the first pitch page url that will take us through
the remainder of the pages until we reach your sales link.

So... looks like I won't have to re-design the site after all. :D
