CB Directroy Question

    I have this directory here and was wondering what might be the best way to market or get traffic to it. Like redirect off my site, or link from a blog maybe?

    I remember seeing these types of thing a few years ago but never was apart of one.

    Or am I just wasting time with this sort of venture?

    Are they affective if you can get traffic to it?

    You might get some results if you direct TONS of traffic at it.

    Personally I don't like this kind of portal sites because it's not really targeted. I prefer specialization and targeting at a particular niche.

    Just my 1 cent's worth... :)

    If possible, direct traffic to different pages of your directory.

    if your visitors are looking for something, try to provide them those search results.

    Many visitors like this kind of arrangement rather than visiting the main page with all the categories.

    Anyhow, for general untargetted visitors, you can promote the main page.
