Why spam when legit email addresses are much much better?

To the other posters is SPAM << ewhoring on your moral compass? I ask because I never see this much negative reponse to ewhoring, which to me sounds far more disgusting.

E-whoring is like stripping. It's morally ambiguous. Oh you may have your feelings about the sex/porn business, or you may be more offended by the number of guys that are lying e-whores, but it's a one-to-one sales tactic that is, literally, as old as human society.

In real life, you show the customer something to get them in deeper. In e-whoring, you're telling a story. Either way, it's just a job, and like it or not, it has a long and colorful history.

Besides which, the guy/girls who get taken in by e-whores are literally out looking for that entertainment (usually). The e-whore just helps them decide where to spend their money tonight.

Spamming is a whole 'nother story. No e-whore can waste 25 million people's time at once. Plus, I've been handling domains for a long time. Some of you probably have no idea what it was like when robert soloway and some of the other big hitters were spamming. I've had over 3400 e-mails in a single day, and less than ten of them being legitimate business.

I've been accused of spamming because of people using my addresses in spoofed headers. I've been joe-jobbed thousands of times, I've had my contact forms and other site features attacked by spammers. I've had to fight off ISP action against a network of sites because of a spammer using one of my URL shorteners for viagra spam and an angry, confused individual proceeding to report me to my ISP as an active spammer.

I F@#$ING HATE spammers. Get a job, get a list, get a life. Get off of my resources, please and thanks.

Go e-whore, it won't waste my time, my bandwidth, or get you any of my money. Go spamming, and I will happily participate in the fight to shut you off of the internet. It wastes my time, it wastes my resources, and it costs me money directly in increased bandwidth/decreased productivity. Not to mention, in case you missed it, it makes me angry.

Of course spam isn't tolerated in any online business. I even get fed up with all the fliers I receive in my mail box that in some of the days don't even fit in my large mail box.

 

Definitely. Don't forget to invest on Google Spamwords to drive more traffic. Or try google Spamsense to monetize your spam letters.

 

The question is not really can you but why would you.

If you can write a spam email then surely you can write well enough to make a small 250 word article?

If you can write a small 250 word article and sit there sending off emails then surely you can submit it to ezines?

If you can write articles, make an account and submit to ezines then surely you can make a blog spot account and write a small sales article on there, linking from ezines to it then sending it to the product?

If you carnt... go to your local DIY store and get some rope, at the end of your spam emails give your address and contact information with a picture and see who comes to hang you first... if your in the midlands in england i might just

Spam is for indian rich men who are diying and need to give their money to "whoever shall read this email" and all they need is your confidential bank details 3 bank statements and a photocopy of your passport....
