From that moment on the TV management decided to provide no personal data, such as profession, age or appearance of Goldstein's victims, even though such data are routinely provided about Israeli victims of Arab violence.

Children of religious settlers coming to Jerusalem to demonstrate were sporting a button "Dr. Goldstein cured Israel's ills." Concerts of religious music and other entertainment events often spontaneously turned into demonstrations of tribute to him.
