Caught Scammer gets Mad?

Hello everyone,

I have caught a scammer yesterday in this thread in this link.

Today I get a PM.

Sorry, i just copied and pasted. Should I forward this to an admin or mod? If so, which one?

I think this guy deserves an IP ban if thats possible.

I'd like to hear your opinion on this...

Scammer banned already.
No further action possible, unless you want some of us to go and sort him out?!

 

but he has another account, possibly more.

 

How do you know he has other accounts?

If you feel you are right post it here or pm the mods

 

I know that, lg123, is another one of his accounts for sure. He made 5 accounts so I think if he made 5, he will make more.

 

I was in the thread, I read what pixel T said and reported it. btw good catch I liked it.

I would agree it is the same person too though.

I was talking with smyrl about it yesterday, I can give him that username to ban. lg123

 

I really think DP should make all bans IP bans because anyone that gets banned can just come back by making a new email account and login...

i read that thread and the posts are deleted that are linked to, so i cant see anything to say either way.
but just because someone uses im and not pm does not make them the same person. and banning someone on that alone is an error of judgment if it was to happen, maybe thats why the other accounts have not been banned yet.

 

Too easy to get back in, proxies etc.

AOL is the hardest to ban, and most webmasters know about proxies so an ip ban just isn't used here at DP bans are via other modes

 

at least a ban kicks that particular users and a new account is less likely to be trusted unless the other side is a noob or a scammer
