Category specific sitemaps

    Hi all,

    Interested to know if anyone's seen any benefit from category specific sitemaps. In other words adding a separate sitemap for each section of your site. (this is mainly for ecom/large sites with hundreds of products). This could be both html and xml sitemaps.

    Let me know if you've used this and seen any benefit with an improved indexation?

    It could be easier to maintain and keep updated if you e.g. schedule crawl and sitemap generation

    Create Master Sitemap including links of all other sitemap. Less confusion & Easy to maintain.

    Create Master Sitemap including links of all other sitemapand and it should also keep your pages ranked better..."internal links"..
