    WP SEO gives you have the option to add title manually for a posts, is there any
    is there such plugin for category pages which allows you to manually add title for category?

    Platinum SEO Pack has ability to write custom category titles, url structures and descriptions.

    I don't think that Platinum SEO Pack can write custom titles for categories, it can only do custom meta

    it's best that you make your own titles for categories so that it will be easy for you to categorize your article.
