Category, permalink and Google re-index

I am about to dosome major change in my site, would that be effect my SEO
My site has almost150 posts and pages.

1. Moving almost all of the post to new categories and delete the old categories
2. Change the URL (permalink) post name to category / post name
3. Delete my site map from Google web master tool and re-index them (is it a good practice ?)

Your advice and timeis much appreciated.

Did you check your robot.txt file

 

it will be affect in your site ranking

 

It will affect it in the short term but if you optimise correctly you should easily recover

 

Wordpress by default redirects bots and traffic to new permalink structure. Do not worry! Additionally, you can install some redirect plugin for wordpress and add 301 redirect.It will take some time before posts with new permalink structure gets indexed. But you will lose nothing.

 

This will affect your site for short term but will get beneficial for long run. Re-index and get right optimization of site will recover its ranking soon.

This is hard to explain because its done virtually if you will, but wp is smart and typically handles things in the background.
