Ok i have noticed that most of the directories that i submit too don't have Specific categories for gaming sites.
Why not is what i am asking.
I ask this if or when u create a directory please include and gaming category with the sub categories nintendo, microsoft, sony, etc.
I am just asking this cause it gets innoying always having to add categories to directories just to be able to submit my site.

I'll have a look in my web directory and add if any categories are missing, thanks for your suggestion. I hope each web directory owner takes this into consideration ;)

Although a very good point there are 2 sides to the coin. As a directory owner you need to ensure you provide the best possible enviroment for your customers and for your existing advertisers.

In that providing a directory with many empty catagories / sub catagories is the fastest way to turn away visitors, leaving the current advertisers in a position of being placed in a dud directory and loosing potential repeat visitors for those and future advertisers.

Sometimes it is not a bad thing to request a catagory and can often show a more astute directory owner.

You will also find most directory owners would be happy to create needed catagorys for any new customer and perhaps a few minutes to set up a new catagory would be worth it long term.

best of luck with your listings.

As much as I know...there are many directories with gaming/games categories. I'm not quite sure if there are any nintendo, sony, etc subcategories which anyway I consider them a bit to much...it's like having the food category and mexican, french, italian food subcategs and then again italian food with pizza, pasta, etc...subcategories...this way a directory should have about 10k empty subcategories or filled with one or two links
