Catchy legal message to increase clicks, example "my wonderful sponsor!"

Hello, I am hardly getting clicks so I need ways to get more clicks. I know saying "please click my ADs, please, please!" is frowned by all, disallowed by many. Something more subtile may be OK. Google adsense allows you to say "my sponsor(s)" I dont use adsense so I have more leeway. What could I say that wont get me in trouble?

    1. My sponsors shown above/below
    2. Those sponsors help pay for the bandwith on my website
    3. Thanks for viewing/reading my website. Check out my sponsors.
    4. My wonderful, interesting, exciting sponsors!

Is any of the above Ok to mention? Any other good ideas?

I think you could get away with options 1, 3 and 4. I wouldn't mention option 2 because it naturally follows on from "...pay for the bandwidth on my website" that you want them to ..."so click on an ad and help pay for my bandwidth!"

One of the key fatcors is ensuring that your ads are customised to fit the text of your site.

Blend the text colours, font, etc as closely as possible.

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone else agree with options 1, 3, 4? Any other good options that dont directly "encourage" them to click on my ads, but be subtile enough that my ads wont go ignored all together.

2 and 3 both encourage clicks.. should be NO in my book. What you need to do is get your ads blended and more relevant.
