I'd have to say dog... I have 5 at the moment... 4 chihuahuas and 1 rottweiler. ;)

I'm guessing the chihuahuas are snacks for the rottweiler?

    Both can be trained.
But really, cats are good for one thing only.
To put in a barn and left alone.

Get a rabbit instead of a cat.

I have a aunt who likes to sit by her gold fish pond and try to catch them. She actually caught one once. Then she fell in. So who says you cant touch them?

Keyword pond, but that would be very funny if it was a bowl. Now, because my wife is alergic to hairy animals (not including me) we have fish. I think I would choose fish over cats and dogs anyway for two reasons. One, they are alergy friendly and two, they keep the mess confined to a specific area, the fish tank. ;)

Well, that and the fact that the fierce sound of bubble is clearly a terrifying deterrent to most intruders.

I don't know, though. Cats like to sleep on your shoulder and the dog sleeps at the foot of the bed - do that with fish and they don't seem to like it... or at least they don't hang around very long.

    A good old cat.
They ask just that you play from time to time, keep their plate full and change the litterbox once in a while.

They can be affectuous if you treat them properly and as loyal as any dog.

I will definetly have an army of ninja cats someday. Beware.

My dog Arian is 7 month old and he's always active both inside and out. He goes out with me when I go jogging at the park.

You know cars are great for turning unwanted cats and dogs into roadkill. :D
