    Choose for what?

If I am choosing one that will crap all over my carpet and hump visitors legs, I will go with the dog

If I am choosing one that ignores me and ruins the furniture, I will go with the cat

Sounds like someone needs to take a few obedience training classes. :p

Our dogs never crap on the carpet or hump visitors. They're pretty freakin cool. And yea, we did classes with both of them while they were in their teenage years. It really pays off.

I would have to pick a cat, mainly as being lazy I don't like having to take a dog for a walk :)

    Cats for the win!

Dogs require too much walking and attention. Cats on the other hand can live great lives if you keep their food dishes supplied and a small catnip toy.

My cat is a vicious little bugger, but I wouldn't have her any other way.

Too bad my wife prefers dogs :(

I prefer dogs as they are more loyal, kick it as hard as you can and it will still come back wagging its tail. If its a rottweiler, consider yourself dogmeat :(

NOTE: I would never kick a dog!!!

I preffer dogs because yes they need more attention than cats but they are more useful. My dog saves my house and our family car :)

    Dogs are better. Fact.

My dog is the cutest thing, he is like my ickle baby. He knows his place etc. My cat, however, thinks she is the queen of the house. She walks over my keyboard when i'm trying to type & sticks her arse in my face and starts purring. When everyone is asleep I hear her tearing round the house, she eats the plants, she scratches at my bedroom door and then when I open it she runs off and hides.

Cats are going to take over the world one day. They are evil. EVIL I tell you!

:D Yes you really should. What fun is a dog if it doesn't hump your guests?

My pup is in 'puberty' and my little cousin came over the other day and she was lying on the floor. You do the math... ;)

I've always been scare of cats even as a little girl. I had one stray cat that used to come through my bedroom window and visit us alot.
Dogs have always been my passion--and Bulldogs are the perfect pet for me they don't need walking, they lay around on the crouch watching TV and they snore just like you have a human in bed with you.
