I've been reading a ton about casual game affiliates. Here's what I have come up with. BigFishGames looks good but if it's not a unique audience to the market they will already be cookied and "owned" by another affiliate. 25% commission seems a bit low. iWin has 30% commission and a year long cookie versus a lifetime cookie. Upon further investigation it appears iWin makes its money from ads within games more so than game purchases. Good for them, bad for affiliates. These are the two types of things you'll see in the market for casual games I'm assuming. You'll have to pick low commissions for lifetime credit, or one-time high commissions. Also sites like iWin look to be making more money off in-game advertising. Is there any affiliate program out that recognizes you for giving them more CPM for these in-game ads even if no one is buying them? Would hate to send traffic to a casual game site only to boost their CPM but result in little to no sales. Any one with real experience care to shed some light on this? Thank you very much.
I am trying out bigfish games for over a month and my stats (from within bigfishgames) are all 0s I guess its as you say all the audience has already been registered by some other bigfishgames affiliate Anybody with a successful bigfishgames site ??
