Casting a hello spell!

Hi,
I've been lurking on here for a while now and have finally got round to joining prompted by the fact that I've finally just set up my first forum. I'm currently working on the assumption that if I don't understand something it's not irrelevant * laughs manically* which is either accurate brave, or totally foolish! Seriously, I know that isn't the case and I'm probably going to need some advice soon before my luck runs out or before I get to the more complicated (well to me!) stuff like adding adverts, etc. I've also recently completed a web design course and am toying with ideas based on that for a possible source of income (was a history teacher in a past life but am currently a stay at home mum to two young kids but as my youngest starts school in September, I'm beginning to look at what I might do once she does and as I need something flexible to fit around the kids, holidays, etc. something web based might be a good solution).
