I'm thinking about opening a business locally in my town doing casino party themes. I have a great understading off all major casino games like: blackjack, poker, crabs, roulette, etc. I can also do deal cards pretty good. I can get fold up tables for under $200 each. I did little research in my hometown and there are 2 or 3 websites i found offering services. I called them and they charge $250 per table for 3 hours. So its pretty good money. The way it works you call me up, you tell me what tables you want and we come to your house, set everything up and deal for 3 hours or more for overtime. What do you think? What else should i know before getting into this? Has anyone tried this? How often do you think people want to throw casino parties at their homes?
Find out about gambling laws in your jurisdiction, whether you need to obtain a license to operate said gambling parties, etc... Since you intend to charge money for it, it's already for-profit and is way different from playing poker with a few dollar bets with your buddies at your own home while drinking beer. It's best to speak to a real lawyer than ask here, otherwise you might end up in the papers in another "illegal gambling ring leader busted" news story.
