Hi you all, I have the following issue. My first product as a vendor has just been approved by Clickbank. Before I activate it I would like to check this... I live in a country that Clickbank does not recognize. People all over the internet advice to use an address of a relative in another country or use a virtual address and I did that. I have used the address of my relatives in another country and they will forward the cheques to me. My dilemma is: Will I be able to cash or deposit these because the address on the cheque will be different from the address in my personal ID card ? I want to be sure that I can, before I pay the activation fee. Thanks,
You'll need to check this issue at your local bank. I have deposited enough checks to know that the only one who can deposit the checks is the actual owner of the clickbank and the bank account. In this case you'd only be able to receive the money from your relatives, since you can't deposit checks if they don't have your name on them. Therefore, if you trust your relatives enough, then just let them deposit the checks for you and simply transfer the money to your bank account. P.S. Make sure to have your relative's details on your clickbank account as well, otherwise they might not be able to deposit the checks. Al.
You didn't understand me. My bad, I wasn't clear enough, it is my name on the cheque and on the CB account, it was just the address that worries me...it's not the same as the one in my ID card... but last night I read on another thread that the mailing address is not an issue as long as the name on the cheque and the bank account are the same... that basically answers my question... thanks
