cash incentives on MaxBounty

MaxBounty is now allowing a small amount of cash incentive publishers into our network as a test. We're looking for the best of the new incentive lot, so a simple application to the network isn't sufficient. If you're interested, please do sign up as a publisher but then follow up with an email to your assigned affiliate manager on how to actively work to prevent fraud from your members.

Shiftcode and other free script incentive websites need not apply. Please only apply if you've written your own incentive script. As usual, non-cash incentives are always welcome.

I signed up and got declined, I do not know why, I have a nice website

What about FSR script? Its $300 software. Surely you can't be to picky as what script one is using

It has great anti-fraud features , I have telisign verification, that screens out a lot of fraudsters

Im not going to waste my time signing up into max bounty. If you dont want to profit from me, then why should I sign up again and again

I did really want to get into maxbounty. It pisses me off when I get denied, because they don't know what there losing with my site.

Jacky - you PM'd me, not Steve. You should call your AM and discuss your rejection. You cannot get into the network without calling.

Shiftcode is not free - we pay a monthly hosting fee plus everything I paid to prevent fraud (the proxy detection, etc) wasn't free either, would be nice if MB would reconsider...

That will never happen. Incentive surfers who came from shiftcode powered incentive websites were the source of a very large percentage of Internet fraud a year or so ago. These surfers, from incentive websites using shiftcode or other cheap-or-free-incentive scripts, defrauding trial offers are the reason most networks dropped cash incentive traffic last year. Wasn't just poor quality traffic. Wasn't just slightly questionable traffic. It was massive amounts of fraud which cost merchants millions. I know of one company that went bankrupt solely because of it.

Like I said, we've re-opened the door on some cash incentive publishers, but you need to have your own script so you can better police your surfers.

I actually got denied first, but then I contacted them and told them that my script is actually custom and I have spent over 20k on it. After that I got an accepted letter from them.

I'd like to add to what JP said. I worked heavily with many ShiftCode sites back when the incentive industry started crashing. We realize that most ShiftCode site owners are hardworking, honest and absolutely want to do their best to eliminate fraud in the incentive model. In fact, I had many long discussions with some of the owners about the fraud and how it was that no matter how much fraud protection was made available by the owners of ShiftCode sites, the fraudsters easily found a way around it. And once they did, they had HUNDREDS of different ShiftCode sites to exploit.

That's pretty much why our policy against ShiftCode sites remains. We don't believe ShiftCode site owners are devious, ignorant or apathetic to fraud. We just know that the sheer volume of SC sites makes them a natural target for fraudsters and based on our results, the percentage of fraud coming from SC sites is much higher than that of custom coded sites.
