Dear all, Many of you know about this pluggin - Top Commenter. i.e., The blog owner gives a backlink from his home page for the sake of the user being top commenter on his blog. Getting a home page link and that too link from all pages of a PR5 or PR4 blog is a great deal to your link building activities. Case Study: I am randomly picking this website - used-tire.net and this is ranking in second / first page for a very competitive keyword - used tires, used tires. When analyzing the results, all it has are back links from websites that allows top commenting widget. I followed and failed - Warning! I took the same path and did it for my 4 month website. The link rose very fastly. Got 5,000 links in just a matter of week. Hurray!, my website was pushed from position 140 to >700. So, top commenter links are twin side blade that has to be used very carefully. If you use it on brand new site, you are gonna fly away from Serps! Use it carefully.
