    This is a cool thread....

Took a look at your landing page. Have you tried video.... just a simple slideshow in PPT or Open Office
which is your page text all over again and you just narrating each slide. You can increase your sign up rate
because of your "passion" and "excitement" for what you have to offer.

Try split testing with a video page against your text version.

Split test your video with a complete one and a call to action at the end (sign up) and an incomplete one (cliffhanger)
where they NEED to sign up to get the whole story, and the report.

Look forward to watching this develop

    Good luck

    Dave

Thanks dailybread. I love case studies because so much info and fine tuning takes place that
it becomes a big learning curve for anybody who visits the thread.

Keep on posting because you belong to the "nice people" group as well :D

thanks for that. Now I have a 'base line' of where I am at I am going to try some testing. A video was something that I was going to look at getting done perhaps at the end of the week so is certainly on my radar, like the 'cliffhanger' idea!

So far - I was away this weekend but had that one Adf/ly blast going and ordered another. Both converted to about 10 subscribers each (not bad for $5 a pop!). Hit a bit of a road bump with mailchimp (not quite delivering what I wanted, and it turns out they dont allow affiliate marketing according to some people I was talking to) so going to be moving to Aweber sometime today.

Got a bunch of client work to get on with now, so going to give the landing page a rejig this evening then reorder and see how that goes, as I am sure I can convert far better

    Nick

    Stats so far

    spend - $10 on adf.ly
    sign ups: 20
2 signs ups per $1 spent
