Cascading Keywords through header tags for SEO

    Hi guys

Has anyone done any lengthy work into cascading keywords through headers.

i.e Title and meta include the keywords compare airport parking

so the H1 tag would include the full word string

then the H2 tag would contain a shorter version such as airport parking

then finally a H3 tag may contain one of the words

Just wondering how effective this has been for anyone and were they able to reasonably measure their results to see if this was a valid optimization strategy.

It's almost impossible to measure this kind of optimisation idea as there are so many other on-page factors that will affect SEO. I would suggest to use this structure if it makes sense within the content and context of the page. Beyond that you start to fall into the trap of writing for SE's not humans, and although that may generate a little more traffic, it will reduce conversions.

It's so easy to get wrapped up in the minutiae of tweaking that we can lose sight of the key principles of structured, quality content and link building.

So my advice is, don't worry too much and get out and build some more backlinks ;)

Write your content for human visitors not for SE.. H1, H2 and H3 you don't have to use all these.
