Cartoons Allowed ?

Are cartoon clips of shows such as Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park etc. allowed by Adsense ? Youtube and metacafe have thousands of clips of this sort so I assume it should not be a problem ?

    Regards,

    copyrighted.

you would still have problems with google allowing this as it is still piracy.

This really makes me laugh! Google, now owners of YouTube with tens of thousands of copyrighted films on it, get really shirty if you put anyone else's material on your website. What's that phrase? - double standards I think they call it. Do as I say and not as I do.

It won't matter. It is not your responsibility, but rather youtube/google videos.

You won't be held liable anyhow.

    Peace,

    the license/copyright is their responsible.
the user just copy the embeded code and then paste to the website. So the video hosting is still provided by youtube/metacafe. We are not hosting the video right...we use the code only. If the owner of video dont want to allow user copy the code, just dont display the code, that's all i think (this was done by video google).

I have emailed adsense about this before, their basic reply to me was this:

If you don't own the video (copyright or leasing) DON'T USE IT.

And yes, that goes for youtube sites, etc.
