Carrier Problems

    I'm sure you've seen the alert about Cingular but right now I'm more concerened about Alltel conversions. Anyone else having a problem?

    man it's been a rough week, conversions in the crapper and now no payday. next week has to be better!

    but what about Blinko? It works but conversions was terrible for last few days.

    lol there is not way to scare people off, just the market is getting so saturated that people with low budgets (most everyone starting in ringtones) have to share the scraps that are left from the big time players. so the smaller piece of pie is getting split more and more

    That is like saying there is a big forest of money trees, and everyone just walks one little narrow path where they have worn it in to the ground and cleared away all the money trees in that strip.

    You don't have to follow the same path as everyone else. That being said, there are other opportunities out there. I was just commenting on the reality that nothing significant changed from last week to this week in terms of its viability.

    There is a finite number of keywords that anyone will type into a search engine and then proceed to download a ringtone. So yes, the money forest is there, but the worn path is quite wide.

    I agree! My point was that ringtones are being dominated by a small number of big time players putting alot of $$$ in it. There is always money to be made, even in ringtones!
