    Well Rudradhar,SEO is a good option as a career,but I'm little confused because after Penguin Updates,Google not like overly optimized site,hence mostly sites is out of rank and project is definitely gone.

    Any career is "good" if you really enjoy what you're doing, try to learn as much as possible and work really hard. I'd advise you consider this career if you really like it and not because it pays well!

    It depends on your interest. Honestly, I would say that if you go for PHP etc then you can earn much more money then SEO.

    SEO takes a lot of skill due to the large number of factors involved in relation to your websites on page and off page optimisation, and in addition the search engines are always changing their ranking algorithms, which means the factors involved in SEO are also ever-changing. It doesn't matter whether in india or any other abroad country.
