Carpooling web site or a video blog for funny videos and pranks

    Hello,

    It's been sometime.

Okay, I have some excellent carpooling domains and a couple of sites that are operational. However, with only 8% of Americans carpooling will the sites work? My one site has close to 400 members in a three month period - but I think people are getting used to the current gas prices and if gas gets back down to $3 a gallon people will think that as being wonderful and screw carpooling. We'll never see $1.29. LOL

So, I have 5 investors and they want to put money into something that is reasonable and will make money. We thought carpooling would stick; however people have seemed to get used to the current trend.

Now, I do have two exceptional (IMO) video sharing domain names that are currently a WordPress blog. www.ipranked.com and hahavideo.com. My goal is to complete the Blog and ad some advanced plugins. NO video uploading just embedding from YouTube or MetaCafe. Folks can Post information and comment on various videos.

Just need an educated opinion. :)

    Thanks.

ok gas prices fluctuate what if just a what ifffffff the prices go so low again that people don't care to use the web for better prices etc.... but then again it might just work. Honestly the web becomes saturated pretty quickly but the real good sites do stand out and it just seems to be all marketing.

I agree; however that's why we suggested the video sites. The domain are excellent and we hope to do something with them soon. But, they also like complaintbucket.com and moldytoast.com.

The model for the video sites will NOT be similar to YouTube since there is ONLY one YouTube. The sites will be advanced blogs and registered users will be allowed to make postings and add embedded videos. Easy navigation and simple to use.

    Thanks
