    I was worried about this...from heavy computer use.

    there is a special test for carpal tunnel syndrome. google phalen's test and reverse phalen's test...then you'll know you have the disorder

    And I don't have carpal tunal syndrome , but I do have tendontize. I recommend you to take more break from the computer. I also recommend you to use one of those software that doesn't require clicking, it click for you, by moving the mouse. Also you might want to use voice activation software. Go see a doctor,they might give you shots.

    If I'm not mistaken, it's the effect of using too much computer to your wrist.

    No, I haven't suffer from this yet and I hope I never will in the future. You need to take break from time to time to relax your hand.

    According to www.steadman-hawkins.com/hand/diag.asp you might have it.. =/

    Might want to see a doctor...

    Mouse users might want to increase the mouse sensitivity so you'll have as minimum wrist movement as possible..

    Another thing I fear is my eyes.. cataract and dry eyes especially...

    Taking a break every two or three hours helps.

    I have had this, it's not something to take lightly. If you ignore symptoms it can lead to permanent nerve damage and have to get surgery. Now the good news, you can do something about it :) I'll tell you what the doctor had me do...

    Buy a carpal tunnel wrist brace, which basically keeps your wrist stiff so it can heal. Keep off the keyboard for a few days if you can, surf more less typing etc.. For more effectiveness take a few supplements, such as vitamin B6/B12, magnesium, calcium. Look that up and you can find the right dosage.

    For me, this fixed it in about a week.

    Fortunately enough no.. and I may not have explained it clearly but those two are the things I worry I would have.. not something i have but I spend like more then 8 hours in front of the monitor.. and if it's not that I'll be either playing PS2 or reading manga.. so.. <^____^;;

    And DarkBrothers.. appreciate the tips...

    I had/have it in both hands. I had my right hand operated on last year. Soon, I will have my left hand operated on. Mild cases can be remedied without surgery. Once it gets to moderate to severe, surgery is usually indicated to prevent permanent nerve damage and muscle atrophy.
