Ok, so some background. I moved from DC to Houston earlier this year, and was having a hard time keeping where I applied and checking job listings when I came down. I decided to just put the links in a word file and work down the list from there. That become to cumbersome, after I had about 50 companies, so I added a page to my website (which was created for potential employers, and so I could see who was checking me out via the IP log, so I could see if my resume was being seen). Anyways, I got a job back in July and had the website sitting there doing nothing. I decided other people could use the site to find a job like I did. So I threw in some google ads, amazon affiliates ads and a search bar to what I had used. What I'm looking for is general suggestions on: (1) how to grow traffic to the site? (2) is the site easy to navigate? If not, how can I better organize? (3) how can I better optimize ads on the page to get better CPM? (Currently about 2.5%) (4) Are there broken or bad links? (5) Am I missing companies? (Geared toward Houston specifically, but Texas and the US) (6) Could I incorporate sponsor links into the site, like career blogs and such, without degrading the experience? (7) How do I get the google page rank up? Currently at PR1 (why?) Thank you all, and here is the link: http://grantbeehler.net/jobs.html
