One of the reasons why many people are mourning that they are not making money with adsense is because they are too concerned with their adsense earnings and not paying particular attention to the content they are serving. To make money with adsense, give people valuable, well-written and ACTIONABLE content. Actionable content is content that people place high value and can use to make their lives better. Do that, and the traffic will follow, because your content will be published by various blogs and also bookmarked. Then visitors will soon recognize that you provide value and are an authority in your particular niche subject.
I've also heard the opposite is true. Horrible content makes people want to leave the page almost immediately and they likely leave through an intriguing advertisement. It's this that makes the whole concept of $3 articles a huge business online - people aren't buying them for riveting content....
Eh, while sure, quality content is good, you do not need quality content to rank in the SERP(s) and to make a killing with adsense or any other program -- and I was one of the first members of the UPS club, far from failing.
Content is the king - you can find these quote repeated everywhere on dp. If that is so, then traffic is queen. When king is there, queen automatically follows
very right man , lot of people create MFA websites and then they asked why they are not earning , earning must be the last thing to think about , and you will earn much more .
I agree that good content is preferable over MFA sites, but it is also true that bad content often makes people want to click and get out - thus earning quite a nice revenue for the MFA/poor content sites owners. Hopefully Google will get tougher on the MFA sites, so those with good content will do better.
Before I would believe that the content is king. But the more I practice, the more I begin to believe adsense, to some extent, is not necessarily related to the content. What you said is true.
Just sharing my opinions in making money through adsense. I found that most of my adsense income are coming for my blog which I provided a quality content. I dont know why but it seems like a quality content does help people to make their live better / finding their solution right? So, from now on. I keep focusing on delivering a quality content which can help my readers to solve any problem related to my niche. And the money will follow.
Content is king - on a website worthy of "royalty." A generic website with poor content stands to make money generally through visitors leaving aka Adsense. A website that delivers intriguing content and authority information via articles, sales copy, landing pages, whatever doesn't usually use Adsense except for simplicity's sake. Quality content brings quality returns through affiliate products, links, advertisements, paid postings, endorsements and direct product/service sales.
HI internetauthor, of course I am talking only about Adsense, not other affiliate products, links, advertisements and so on. If the site can achieve the status of authority in certain niche, the site will not rely on Adsense any more. But how many site can achieve that? Actually lot of people out there do MFA site only.
Quality content makes visitors trust your site, and in turn, your advertisers are trusted too. This gives your advertisers higher conversions from your site's traffic. As far as Adsense goes, conversions for your advertisers should be your number one priority.
