Contest ends...December 31, 2006...IMO, and they don't allow black-hat!! This one will be more of a challenge!!!

 

Also noteworthy:

Not a bad deal. Just register the hyphenated KW domain for 2 bucks and you can cash in 300 for ranking #1 on Yahoo and MSN.

 

Its probably a good way to have people audition for the SEO job he seems to have planned.

Ack!!! But it doesn't start until next month!!! LOL!! I bet they'll soon wish they didn't reveal the keywords until it actually starts!!!!

 

I think it just says feb. start so thet start with the prizes in March.

 

And on there site they link to the SEO page, so it looks like they do plan to have us all enter it now. I found out from them making a post about it on another SEO message board though it looked like they were taking suggestions as they originally required a link back, until a poster said he wouldn't support it with that rule, so they changed it to the v7n rules!

Yah, we'll support them all right, for cash...

I'm suprised none of the domain names were taken, with or with out the hyphen!!! I don't think this one will be nearly as big as the v7n contest, even with the huge prizes!!! It might be more in size with the Redscowl Bluesingsky contest which is extremely easy to get to the top. (I got three sites in the top four listings, though it's black-hat that got me there!)

 

I suck at it, maybe I'll just sell the domain if the contest gets big.

Note these rules....

You could destroy a competitor simply by making black-hat pages, spam, hidden links and so on! Post the competitors E-mail address as the contact E-mail address and there toast!!!!

And

So you don't have to have a domain for each search engine.

I got just that one and will just make sub-domains, www2 www3 www4 and so on if I want to make more than one unique site, in the eyes of the search engines.

Ok guys a little of topic, but is a domain with two keywords and a hyphen between them better then two keywords as a whole?

I thought Google didn't make a difference with this since it will see the seperate keywords anyways?

 

According to the SERPs for the current contests it doesn't make a difference.

 

The fact that the keywords are announced before the contest starts and all the good domain names will be taken before most people know about it has left me with a poor impression of this contest.

Having said that I am doing crap in the other contest so I will probably give this one a try as well!
