I just got in a wreck about an hour ago and I need some advice/help. To sum things up it was rainy and teh roads are wet. My tires spun and slid out of control. Before I could regain control my car had jumped a concrete barrier and hit another car. My bumper fron left bumper side is smashed wit the headlights/signal. The door now grinds shut cause the frame was pushed back just a tad. And my hood is dented in one or two spots. Nothing major there. Her car...I hit her driver side door. It is demolished. Frame around teh fron left tire is messed up and the area surronding teh door is dented and needs repair. How much is that going to cost at an auto repair garage? Can I get a breakdown for the indivdual items. The bumper her door headlight and minor frame work Also about how much would my insurance go up. I am currently paying about 130 a month for a 99 chevrolet astro. How much would it go up for that wreck. This is my first wreck. First ticket (failure to maintain control).
You should take your car to an auto body shop and let them give you an estimate on how much it will cost to repair not only your car damage but also the other perty's car damage as well. Your insurance will probably go up, but again it depends on your insurance agency...What agency are you insured under? Your ticket and your accident with both unfortunately raise your insurance premiums, however your insurance company will cover the cost to have your and the other person's cars repaired.
lol all in seriousness tho, follow Teacherlady's advice. That and if you register with some car forums, you might be able to find better advice.
I wasnt speeding or anything. Was in the middle of a turn that I had been stopped at a light at before. So I had no chance to get speeding. This has been such a terrible day.
