Hello there Can anyone explain how one can capture both email addresses and mobile phones numbers via SMS/text at point of entry and have series of texts and emails pre-programmed to go out to prospects over like say a 7 day period? Regards Timmy
I don't know about having pre programmed text being sent out, but there are two ways I know to get both email addresses, and cell phone numbers from advertising via sms. I use aweber to create a form, then I have it mobile optimized so it shows up on a iphone, or ipad correctly. The form ask for both their email address, and their cell number if they'd like me to call them. I then give away a free ebook on a niche that I targeted in my sms campaign. The form then directs them to a cpa offer, and sends them pre written emails over a 7-14 day time period about my main product offer. I also use paypal to collect both email addresses, and mobile numbers of anyone I now do business with on a regular basis as it now gives you the option to pay via email, or cell phone number. That's very clever that! What I was looking for is when contacting prospects offline and getting them to text their email address and name. An email and text message would then go out instantly to them which can be programmed over 7-14 days or more depending on your preference. I have seen it done in the UK.
I may know what you're referring to. Have you seen those ads where it says for example.... get a 10% discount by Texting "Coupon to 41472" or something like that? This is a system a lot of bigger businesses are starting to use. It's a way to stay in touch with your customers, or create potential new customers via building a list from mobile marketing. They text the keyword and the number given, and it sends them to a page where they enter their info to subscribe to the list. The system then generates pre programmed messages out to them at whatever intervals the owner of the system programmed it to. I know of at least one site that does this, but there are many others. I am not sure if the site I know about is worldwide, or not though. If you want to private message me we can talk more, and I can give you a link to the site to check it out.
