Can't withdraw my money from my Paypal account

    Hello,

I received money to my Paypal account and I'd like to pay some one using this money (instead of my CC). It's been almost 3 weeks that the poor guy is waiting for his money.

I didn't see where to change my funding source. I followed the tutorial on the Paypal knowledge base, but I don't have this option in my user area. Here's my "Profile" screen:

And when I click "Paylist", I get this:

So, I decided to get in touch with the terrible Paypal "Customer support", and I told the situation. Four days later, I received a useless canned response:
To be honnest, I didn't expect more than that. I can only count on the help from the community at this point. I have a merchant account and I use American Express as my primary funding source. I can't get the funds back to my credit card, as Paypal only deposits to Visa cards. Could you tell me how to change my funding source? What I need to do is pay using my Paypal funds instead of my credit card.
    Thanks in advance,

    Charles.

If you have money in you PayPal account, than PayPal wont take money from your CC unless you sending more money than your account has.

    First, where are you from?

Second, why not try to get a VISA card?
Or depending where you're at, use a bank account.

    Sorry, i re-read the post.

If you need to pay let say, 100$ and you have that amount in your paypal account balance, then you just need to click in

    send money,
    then type that amount
and then paypal will select automatic the paypal balance

If the amount to pay is greater than your paypal balance then you can only pay by using the CC

Thanks. Are you sure? Because when I pay my domain names using Paypal, it doesn't touch my funds but it debits my credit card (as I can see on my CC statement).

    I'm from Brazil.

To get an international credit card here, it's very very difficult. You need to earn a lot of money per month and you need to have the history of a reliable customer with the bank. And moreover I don't know any bank that offers Visa (mine is one of the only ones, if not the only one to offer American Express). That's what it's like in a third-world country :)

Anyway, any idea why it debits my credit card when I pay $10 each time I buy a domain name? On this Paypal account much more than that so it should take the Paypal funds first, right?

You could try forwarding the funds to a friend, and having them pay the person waiting for the funds.

If you have existing funds in your account, it will use that money first to pay before withdrawing from your credit card. However, if you are paying the other party through a subscription then it has to be funded by a credit card.
