Can't watch mkv files on my laptop...!!!

    Hello there....thanks for ur last support.

    My laptop info:

    Windows Edition: Windows Vista Home Premium
    Service Pack 2
    Model: HP Pavillion dv7
    Processor: AMD Turion(tm) X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-72 2.10 GHz
    Memory(RAM): 4.00 GB
    System Type: 64-bit Operating System

    Can't watch mkv files on either WMC,WMP or HPMS(HP Media Start)...any help?...Thanks.

    Try using GOM Player. It will search if you have the MKV codec.
    If you don't have it, GOM Player will ask you to download it.

    Download VideoLan Client here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

    VLC is the most universal video/audio client i've ever seen. It's fully compatable with MKV files too!

    maybe your computer doesn't have the codec?
    you can download k-lite mega codec pack then install it...

    Yeah, Go Get THE VLC media Player.... That Plays all the Video Files, No Matter What the Format is :D

    Yup, k-lite codec pack. media player classic, included with klite, will handle anything after that.

    yeah MKV codec should be installed, Try K-lite codec pack!

    check(update) your video card driver, or you can use vlc player ....
