hello, i just registed to use the service but i run into a few problems.. I cannot validate cause it complains the code or add isnt found on page ....whatever.php Problem is whatever.php or any other folder /page it finds ,that is not part of my website. So for example,if i have folders not for anybody to be viewed it invades my right to exclude folders. If i should live by what ever rule the system has it would take me upto 2008 to include the code and keep on validating till hell freezes over.. I submitted my website as it is,and not any folder types it may find.. So how do i solve this?...?
If you registered www dot yoursite dot com as your base URL validator expects to find ads on all pages in the web. You may set your base to be only one folder then ads must be on every page in that folder. Validator checks pages in Google's cache. If you have pages cached in Google index which do not exist you need to remove them from Google's index. Do a Google search for "Google remove URL" and request Google remove non-existant pages. well like i said, that would take upto 2008. I run a bunch of websites and they all are based on one super account linked to subdomains. Then ill just take all out again. The idea was nice but you can imagine what a work it would be patching up 9 websites with a total of 570 mb of pages. Idea is nice but the technique used is extreem. Anyway, thanks.
You could try on only one folder and use SSI (server side include) or CSI (client side include) to include in your footer. That way you have to add code to only one file and just include. Shannon
